Must Have
Current suitability (i. e. registration) with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner at the Core or Proficient level, Substantial experience in the provision of Positive Behaviour Support as recognised by the [The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework](https: //www. ndiscommission. gov. au/providers/understanding-behaviour-support-and-restrictive-practices-providers/positive-behaviour), Demonstration of alignment to our company's vision to deliver evidence-based, person-centred and outcome-focused supports which enable participants and their significant others to live their best lives, Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication (written and verbal), influencing, interpersonal and problem solving skills, Demonstrated commitment to being a team player, Commitment to continuing professional development, Flawless writing skills, Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
Nice to Have
Degree level qualifications of relevance to providing support to people with behaviours of concern are highly preferred

As an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner practising at a Core or Proficient level of suitability with the Commission, you’ll make a real difference in the lives of people living with disability by helping them and those around them. You will focus on enhancing quality of life, reducing behaviours of concern and promoting the rights of people with disability. You will work as part of a team including practitioners, a team leader and clinical advisors, to support people with evidence-based practice along with developing your own knowledge, skills and experience. You live in Penrith or the Blue Mountains or Hawkesbury areas.
