Must Have
5+ years experience in behaviour support, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in relevant field, Valid driver's license
Nice to Have
Experience with NDIS, First Aid and CPR certification

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner you will make a real difference in the lives of people living with disability by helping them and those around them. You will focus on enhancing quality of life, reducing behaviours of concern and promoting the rights of people with disability. You will work as part of a team including practitioners, a team leader and clinical advisors, to support people with evidence-based practice along with developing your own knowledge, skills and experience. You live in Shepparton. You will also benefit from the School of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), in partnership with MedHealth Academy and the University of Melbourne. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner you will: * Support our clients (NDIS participants), along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning * Identify meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community * Develop, deliver and evaluate evidence-based support plans within a complex support space * Ensure individual plans reflect our clients' goals, passions and strengths * Build the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support our clients - f
