What You'll Do.
Perform interviews with individuals and families
Identify presenting problems
Assess mental status and dangerousness
Gather psychosocial history
Assign accurate diagnoses
Determine best intervention
Provide individual therapy
Provide group therapy
Provide family therapy
Assess psychiatric crises
Provide crisis intervention
Work closely with psychiatrists
Maintain medical records
Refer individuals to agencies
Provide crisis assessments
Provide stabilization
Provide service coordination
De-escalate crisis situations
Provide coverage for Emergency Services
Provide on-call coverage
Attend educational trainings
Maintain positive working relationships
Participate in quality improvement
Comply with agency policies
Provide clinical consultation
Travel to community locations
