What You'll Do.
Perform interviews to identify problems
Assess mental status and dangerousness
Gather psychosocial history facts
Assign accurate diagnoses
Determine intervention to help client
Provide individual therapy
Provide group therapy
Provide family therapy
Assess psychiatric crises
Provide crisis intervention
Work closely with psychiatrists
Maintain medical records
Comply with guidelines
Refer individuals to outside agencies
Provide crisis assessments
