Full Job Description

That’s why our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care. Position Overview Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT’s) monitor and assist adolescent clients in the residential milieu, lead activities designed to help the residents adjust to living in a community setting and assist the residents in gaining the skills needed to manage their eating disorder. BHT’s play an integral role in the day-to-day function of the clients’ experience. Schedule Part-Time 0.4 FTE (16 hours per week) Evening/Overnight Evening Shifts: 2pm-10:30pm, 4pm-12:30am Overnight Shifts: 10pm-6:30am Every other weekend required (Saturday however, 6+ months of direct client care / milieu experience in a mental/behavioral health or healthcare setting, particularly with eating disorders is preferred. · Completion of Preceptor Program preferred. Other Qualifications: · Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites must have a valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive. · Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites are required to have a current Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. · Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites are required to have a current First Aid certification within 30 days of hire. · Employees at Residential or Inpatient sites in North Carolina or Georgia are required to have a current CPI certification within 30 days of hire. · Employees at Residential site in Washington are required to have a Washington State Department of Health Food Handler permit within 30 days of hire.
