Must Have
Registered with BBS as pre-licensed associate, Minimum 2 years experience providing therapeutic case management, Minimum 2 years experience providing counseling services, Demonstrated knowledge of harm reduction, Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care, Demonstrated knowledge of motivational interviewing, Ability to develop therapeutic groups, Ability to facilitate therapeutic groups, Ability to develop psychoeducational groups, Ability to facilitate psychoeducational groups, Knowledge of substance use treatment, Knowledge of overdose prevention, Knowledge of Contingency Management, Knowledge of MAT/MOUD, Ability to work independently, Ability to work collaboratively, Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Competence in internet research, Ability to work on computer, Ability to see details, Ability to hear within normal range, Ability to communicate effectively, Finger dexterity, Ability to use standard office equipment, Ability to sit or stand, Ability to navigate throughout office spaces
Nice to Have
AMFT, ASW, APCC strongly preferred, Certified SUDC II or higher accepted, Experience with Salesforce preferred, Experience entering information from Salesforce preferred, Experience accessing information from Salesforce preferred

## Description About Glide GLIDE is a nationally recognized center for social justice, dedicated to fighting systemic injustices, creating pathways out of poverty and crisis, and transforming lives. GLIDE’s mission is to create a radically inclusive, just, and loving community mobilized to alleviate suffering and break the cycles of poverty and marginalization SUMMARY The Behavioral Health Counselor’s (BHC) direct focus is to provide proactive, low-threshold clinical support, counseling, and case management services to participants experiencing mental health issues, substance use disorders, and/or social isolation. The BHC will work with a Certified Peer SUD Specialist to provide immediate triage, culturally responsive therapy, and facilitate therapeutic groups within this trusted, community-based space. The role is central to providing linkages to GLIDE’s continuum of care, with a specialized focus on overdose prevention, Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) navigation, Contingency Management, and supporting holistic recovery. This position will require a flexible schedule to meet community needs, including some evening and weekend hours. This is a grant-funded position and therefore is contingent on the agency's continued support at a full level of funding. ## Essential Duties and Responsibilites BHC will coordinate and manage a minimum of 20 active case management participants at any given time, within a professional, trauma-informed, and healing-centered lens, efficient, client-centered, and equitable framework to help clients achieve their best version of self, wellness, and autonomy.
