Behavior Technician (RBT) - Carol Stream, Illinois Company: Rooted in Reinforcement, a Finni Health company Job Type: Part-time (less than 30 hours per week) Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday: 9:00/10:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM (Weekends: Off) Location: In-person – Carol Stream, Illinois Pay: $22-28 per hour Are you passionate about helping individuals reach their full potential and ready to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team! This position involves working one-on-one with a client to support skill development, communication, and independence using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. About the Role As a BT/RBT, you will provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll work closely with clients to implement treatment plans, track progress, and support the development of essential life, communication, and social skills in a structured and encouraging environment. Key Responsibilities - Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision - Collect and record accurate session data - Support skill development and behavior-reduction goals - Maintain professionalism and positive rapport with clients and families - Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to ABA and special education Qualifications - Current RBT Certification (required) - Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred) - Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred) - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required) - Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred) - A background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial) What We Offer - Supervision toward BCBA/BCaBA certification - Consistent daytime schedule (
