Eligibility Requirements

Reliable means of transportation, Proof of auto insurance, Commit to at least six months of employment, Ability to work with patients who are seated on the floor, Move frequently throughout the therapeutic setting, Constantly position oneself to participate and respond, Utilize continuous visual tracking, Occasionally move to evade aggressive behaviors, Occasionally bear weight of a patient, Articulate sound and model speaking clearly, Listen to and shape vocal communication, Use modeling to teach gross motor skills, Use modeling to teach fine motor skills, Work in both indoor and outdoor settings, Work in a variety of weather conditions, Lift up to 30 lbs.

Must Have

High School Diploma or equivalent, Pass initial CARD Behavior Technician Training program, Pass comprehensive written exam, Pass field evaluation

Nice to Have

Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

What You'll Do.

Provide direct treatment to patients

Collect and record data on patient progress

Review and implement Clinical Supervisor feedback

Communicate effectively and compassionately

Provide a safe and supportive environment

Maintain accurate and timely records

Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements

Represent CARD professionally and ethically
