What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree required, Valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential required, Compliance with RCC and CBRF required
Nice to Have
Relevant Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment (CBT) experience (12 months preferred), Current and active driver's license preferred, Compliance with RCC and CBRF preferred for all levels of care, American Heart Association CPR certification within thirty (30) days of hire, Training in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) within sixty (60) days of hire/transfer, Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) trainings within ninety (90) days of hire
What You'll Do.
Support delivery of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions
Assess the function of behavior
Develop individualized plans
Implement individualized plans
Provide training to patients
Provide education to support persons
Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
Monitor progress of behavior interventions
Make modifications to interventions
Design CBT-specific treatment plans
Implement CBT-specific treatment plans
Provide therapeutic services
Participate in supervision sessions
Communicate patient progress
Monitor effectiveness of interventions
Administer outcome measures
Review outcome measure results
Document mental health services
Complete documentation within medical record
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
Assist in development of treatment plan
Communicate treatment interventions
Communicate support needs
Offer training support to direct care team members
Provide parent training
Provide support person training
Provide for patient safety
Provide for facility safety
Support changes in staffing/scheduling
Maintain knowledge base of department processes
Pursue self-directed learning
Pursue continuing education
Participate on committees
Participate on task forces
Participate on work groups
