Position Summary: Behavioral Health Technician I (BHTI) provides direct care and therapeutic support. This role ensures a safe, structured environment for individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use crises. Responsibilities include milieu management across the entire first floor, 1:1 engagement, crisis de-escalation, vitals measurement, medication administration, and safety checks. Team Specific Information: Team 880 is a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, residential counselors, peer specialists, nurses, medical assistants, psychiatric and primary care nurse practitioners, and administrative staff. Compensation crisis setting experience preferred. Certain programs may require a valid Class “S” driver’s license, as defined by Colorado state transportation regulations. Must meet qualifications outlined in 6 CCR 1011-1 Chapter 07, which sets standards for Assisted Living Residences in Colorado, including staffing, resident care, medication administration, and facility operations.
