BCA Materials & Processes Engineering Manager **Company:** The Boeing Company **Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Materials & Processes** (M&P) **Engineering** organization plays a crucial role in supporting all BCA Airplane programs, supply chain, fabrication, customer support, and BGS. We are looking for a manager to lead the**Systems and Electrical M &P Engineering teams** located in Everett. Travel to Seattle, WA site is required on weekly basis _**Position responsibilities:**_ The ideal candidate will excel in both the M&P engineering technical excellence required for this role while also being an engaging and motivating people leader, including committing to: * Manages, develops and motivates a team of roughly 15-20 M&P engineers across the Systems and Electrical M&P team. * Collaborates with Program, Fabrication, and Engineering leaders on Top priorities, RIO management, and technology insertions. * Ensures the M&P team is meeting commitments on design development, design reviews, liaison support, qualifications, and supply chain activities. * Manage and execute to budget, staffing, and metrics that evaluate the health of the business. * Inspiring and empowering your team through collaboration, communication, and caring. * Building and nurturing an inclusive culture by seeking different perspectives, speaking up, and actively listening to teammates and stakeholders. * Ensuring an emotionally safe work environment where employees can freely and proactively raise safety, quality and schedule concerns as soon as they are known. _**Work Authorization:**_ The selected candidate will be required to work 100% onsite at Everett, WA. **_Candidate Assessment Notice:_** To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process.
