Location: Seattle (WA) Contract: Casual Salary: $30 per hour Expected Start Date: ASAP Working Hours: Game Days (4 hours before tipoff, through the game, breakdown storage of kit post game) WHAT THE JOB IS ALL ABOUT? Ready to be at the heart of live basketball action while operating cutting-edge technology? Join our Hawk-Eye team and play a pivotal role in delivering unparalleled services to the WNBA. As a Basketball Replay Operator, you'll ensure seamless technology operations during live games, committing to all home games for the season and embracing the dynamic nature of working weekends when sports are in play. We'll provide comprehensive technical training, support, and exposure to our systems, empowering your personal and professional growth to make a lasting impact on our operations. WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE? - Executing the set-up of the replay and coach’s video review systems - Conducting pre-match checks of the systems in accordance with standard procedures - Liaising with officials, broadcasters and Hawk-Eye staff, both on-site and remotely - Operating and maintaining the technology during the games. - Operating the system efficiently and in a timely manner in a high pressure live environment in conjunction with the on court officials. - Accurately reporting on all reviews that occurred and the overall status of how the game went - Maintaining and building our hardware and equipment throughout the season. - Possible work during the off-season for building and maintaining our hardware and equipment - Assisting with any installation and testing of new products and services WHY IS THIS THE RIGHT JOB FOR YOU?
