**Job Family Group:** Staff Department/Office: Recreation and Sports Camps Time Type: Part time Compensation: $17.00-$21.17 _Please note, starting salaries are based on factors including internal equity, relevant experience, and education._ Exemption Status: Non-Exempt **Job Description:** At the direction of the camp director(s), provide instruction, demonstration and teaching the sport’s dynamics to campers. Provide supervision of campers during all activities and free times. **Job Duties** * Provides instruction, demonstrations and teaches the sport’s dynamics to campers. * Provides supervision of campers during all activities and free times. * Communicates with parents, First Aiders, Director of Sports Medicine, and coaches regarding all sessions, injuries and missed sessions for campers. * Abides by NCAA Division III Basketball rules and regulations. * Remains “on-call” for student-athletes needs 24/7, nights and weekends. Requires extensive travel and time during the regular season and during the recruiting season. * Cooperates and collaborates with other employees in the spirit of teamwork and collegiality and interacts with confidence, patience and integrity to provide professional leadership during emergencies. * Complies with all Trinity University policies and guidelines. * Performs other duties as required. ****EDUCATION**** Required: High School Diploma or GED. ****EXPERIENCE**** Required: 1 month to 6 months. ****KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**** Required: Played or coached a minimum of 1 year. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Skill in providing instruction to a diverse group of individuals.
