What You'll Do.
Oversee all aspects of the bar
from preparation to service
Ensure that supplies and stock are at sufficient levels to accommodate business demands during their shift
Provide guidance to the Apprentice Bartender
Mix and serve drinks to customers during their shift
Account for all stock and supplies used
Prepare ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients
and related bar service

Mix drinks according to prescribed recipes
Keep the station stocked with all liquor
Account for all beginning cash register bank
Operate a cash register
ring up the correct amount into the register
and provide the guest or server with the correct change
Set up service items at the assigned bar

Clean any spillage at the bar throughout the shift
Take and serve cocktail orders

**WHAT YOU’LL DO** The primary responsibility of the Bartender is to oversee all aspects of the bar, from preparation to service, and to ensure that supplies and stock are at sufficient levels to accommodate business demands during their shift. They also provide guidance to the Apprentice Bartender and are responsible for mixing and serving drinks to customers during their shift, as well as accounting for all stock and supplies used. All duties are to be performed in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. **ROLE EXPECTATIONS** Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Prepare ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients, such as wine, liquor, and related bar service, for guests at assigned stations. * Mix drinks according to prescribed recipes; keep the station stocked with all liquor, glasses, and accessories necessary; account for all beginning cash register bank, all cash, complimentary drinks, and charge receipts. * Operate a cash register, ring up the correct amount into the register, and provide the guest or server with the correct change. * Possess a keen sense of timing and be capable of discreetly adjusting the pace of service as necessary. * Be resourceful with beverages, fruit, and supplies to maintain low beverage costs. * Set up service items at the assigned bar. * Inventory supplies at the bar at the beginning of the shift and requisition additional items as indicated by bar standards. * Clean any spillage at the bar throughout the shift. * Take and serve cocktail orders. * Accept payment for cocktails as required. * Count down register drawers and complete summaries. * Log stock used during the shift. * Maintain the appropriate appearance of the bar in accordance with county health and department standards. * Ensure that all service items and stock are prepared for the shift. * Remain attentive to the needs and requests of customers. * Treat customers with courtesy and respect. * Follow all applicable sa
