Full Job Description

## Accountabilities Manage end-to-end administration of enterprise databases, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, backup, recovery, and performance tuning of Oracle Database environments supporting enterprise applications. Support and optimize ERP platforms such as Ellucian Banner, ensuring system availability, integrity, and performance across application and database layers. Perform advanced SQL development, database object migrations, and shell scripting to support automation, troubleshooting, and system optimization. Design, implement, and maintain high availability architectures and disaster recovery solutions, including business continuity planning and data archiving strategies. Monitor system performance using tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager and other diagnostics platforms to ensure optimal uptime and efficiency. Collaborate with systems and operations teams to enforce security controls, audit trails, access management, and data protection policies. Install, configure, and integrate middleware and application components, including web/application servers such as Apache Tomcat. Troubleshoot complex database, application, and integration issues across ERP and third-party systems, including vendor coordination and support case management. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior DBA team members while contributing to standards, policies, and long-term infrastructure strategy. Evaluate, plan, and implement third-party application integrations with ERP environments while ensuring system compatibility and stability. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience (preferred). 5–9 years of experience as an Oracle DBA or Banner DBA in enterprise environments. Strong expertise in Oracle Database administration including installation, patching, upgrades, backup/recovery, and performance tuning. Hands-on experience supporting ERP systems such as Ellucian
