**Line of Service** Assurance **Industry/Sector** Banking and Capital Markets **Specialism** Banking & Finance **Management Level** Associate **Job Description & Summary** We are looking for a Banking Consultant to be part of an established team of professionals within the Banking Advisory team which forms part of the Assurance Line of Service. The role of the Banking Consultant will be that of supporting banks and other financial institutions with financial and regulatory advice as well as data, governance and risk management practices. ****Your Mission**** Your career with PwC is what you make it to be. This role will include, but is not limited to, the following: * Enhance his/her understanding of the business of banking (incl. banking regulation) and risk management practices * Gain experience by working directly with major banks and other financial institutions in Malta * Continuously have on-the-job training to further develop his/her skills * Form part of a dynamic team with considerable expertise * Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues * Develop relationships across the PwC network * Learning how businesses work, with a particular focus on financial forecasting, stress and scenario testing, risk evaluation and modelling alongside data science techniques. * Helping clients adapt their business in light of changing economic conditions and regulatory requirements, including Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) requirements. * Drafting reports and presentations and using data visualisation to explain our findings. ****About You**** The successful candidate will possess: * Between 2-3 years of work experience within the Financial Services sector, with a strong consulting mind-set * A tertiary qualification in Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Management, Economics, Insurance or a related discipline * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * The ability to embrace new/changes in the sector to be able to provide clients with
