What You'll Do.
Decorating bakery items
Assisting customers with bakery orders by telephone and in person
Ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous
and efficient customer service
Checking orders for the day and setting up a timeline and production schedule
Decorating bakery items in a timely manner
Keeping current on new designs and trends
Ensuring department standards are met
Checking cake orders for details (size
dates) daily and indicating supply needs
Ordering supplies for decorating area and checking off the order
Delivering product and setting up wedding cakes on site
Communicating with bakery manager regarding displays
weekly ads and special needs on a daily basis
Checking product dates
pulling cases for work and listing items to fill or replace
Developing bakery orders for bakers on a daily basis
Tracking daily retail production
tasks to be completed
Operating as a lead worker with part-time or other employees
Participating in employee cross training
Understanding and practicing proper sanitation procedures and ensuring the work area is always clean and neat
Adhering to company policies and individual store guidelines
Reporting to work when scheduled and on time
Wrapping all product as necessary
Assisting in other areas of the store as needed
Performing other job related duties and special projects as required
