Provide customer service

Load or unload heavy items
Answer telephone promptly

Keep current on new designs
Keep current on trends
Ensure department standards are met
Check cake orders for details
Indicate supply needs
Order supplies for decorating area
Set up wedding cakes on site
Communicate with bakery manager
List items to replace
Develop bakery orders for bakers
Track daily retail production
Identify tasks to be completed
Instruct part-time employees
Review part-time employee work
Participate in employee cross training
Understand sanitation procedures
Ensure work area is clean
