In this role, you will contribute to developing high-performance backend services, ensuring system reliability, and enabling seamless integration with third-party fintech APIs, including US-based platforms like Plaid. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable solutions that support financial workflows and customer-facing applications. This position offers the opportunity to work on modern cloud-native architectures in a hybrid setup based in Bangalore, while contributing to products serving global fintech use cases. **Requirements** ### Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Python. * Build and manage RESTful APIs for internal and external system integrations. * Integrate third-party fintech APIs such as Plaid and other financial data providers. * Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment workflows. * Containerize applications using Docker and deploy services on Kubernetes clusters. * Ensure backend systems are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance. * Collaborate with frontend, product, and QA teams for feature delivery. * Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely manner. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. * Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards. ### What Makes You a Great Fit * 3–6 years of experience in backend development with strong hands-on expertise in Node.js and Python. * Experience building and maintaining REST APIs in production environments. * Strong understandin
