As a Backend Engineer, you’ll join a growing global team at Wix, shaping the future of eCommerce. You’ll develop and maintain the core selling and order management capabilities for all Wix verticals. Working in a highly distributed, cutting-edge environment, you’ll play a central role in building scalable, resilient systems that handle millions of requests per minute. In your day-to-day, you will: • Build and maintain backend systems to process 1.5 million API requests and 400,000 events per minute • Design, implement, and optimize scalable and resilient systems with an API-first approach • Solve high-scale technical challenges in a distributed microservices environment (~100 microservices) • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality across the platform • Lead technical initiatives to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability • Mentor and guide junior engineers to help them reach their full potential Strong communication skills in both Hebrew and English are required. ## Qualifications • 4+ years of experien
