As a Backbone Network Planner, you are responsible for managing the planning and development of Amazon’s physical network infrastructure. You will be experienced in planning and designing physical network infrastructure (dark fiber, colocation and ISP cabling), optical transport technologies, backbone network engineering design principles, and you will have good market knowledge of network infrastructure providers in your region. This role requires extensive collaboration, driving strategic planning initiatives, designing high-availability solutions at scale, and delivering precise documentation.
