Full Job Description
**Overtime after 40 hrs/wk** \- **Afternoon shift** \- **No Weekends** \- **Ontario Runs** Brannon Steel is looking for an experienced **AZ Flatbed Driver** for Ontario runs and shunting between its three nearby Brampton locations on the afternoon shift. **Full-time permanent.** **Base work schedule** : Monday to Friday (3pm to 11pm). **Wage:** $27 - $40 per hour based on experience. **Please do not include your driver's license or abstract with your application!** **This information will be requested later if necessary.** **Please do not call to inquire about the status of your application, we will contact those who meet the requirements.** **Duties** * Maintain high standards for safety, quality and customer service. * Transport steel parts and plate up to 80,000 lbs using flatbed, van and slide trailers. * Ensure loads are properly secured. * Perform frequent tarping when required by weather conditions. * Perform vehicle inspections daily, report issues when required. * Complete all necessary documents, logs, and inspections. * Comply with the Highway Traffic Act and other applicable regulations. * Represent Brannon Steel in a friendly and professional manner. * The ideal candidate is versatile and comfortable taking on a variety of tasks as priorities shift. **Requirements** * Valid AZ license with clean abstract. * Strong flatbed experience. * Heavy load securement and oversize load experience. * Able to operate automatic and manual transmission. * Able to safely move up / down trailers to secure & tarp loads. * Read / write / speak English at a conversational level. * Able to work Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11 pm. * Friendly, professional attitude. **Benefits** * Overtime after 40 hours per week. * No weekends. * Dedicated cab. * Clean, well-maintained fleet. * Full-time, permanent work at a stable, family-owned company. * Service award program including travel vouchers for $3,000, $5,000, and $10,000 for 10, 20, and 30 years of service. * Group RRSP program wit
