What They're Looking For.
Must Have
AWS platform foundations and services, terraform, Harness, Incident, change and problem management (ITSM), Continuous Monitoring and observability, Patch management solution, Release management, DR activities, metrics and reporting, cost optimization, Show back / chargeback reporting, operations as code practices, SRE Operations experience in AWS environment, Automation focused, engineering mind set, reduce toil via operations as code, cloud native design patterns, DevOps principles, Infrastructure as Code, Ability to effectively communicate ideas, escalate issues across teams, 9 + years of IT experience, 3 – 5 years of experience designing and supporting AWS environments, Agile and DevOPs, cloud computing technologies, Core IaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking, High Availability, programming and scripting background in languages such as shell scripts, python, Java etc., designing, coding and deploying Terraform templates / modules with Harness, Handling critical issues and timely remediations in high pressure situations, develop and document deliverables compliant with established company design control and regulatory statutes, Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
Nice to Have
Appropriate certifications, Azure PaaS Services: Azure Kubernetes Service, Event Hub etc., Data Platform and Bigdata: SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Data Factory / Data Bricks, Automated testing tools experience, Service Now, Splunk, Grafana knowledge, Knowledge of OS (windows / Linux), Financial services or regulated industry experience
