What They're Looking For.
Must Have
US Citizenship or Green Card, Ability to Obtain Public Trust clearance, Bachelor’s degree, Minimum of Four(4) to Eight(8) years experience as a DBA, at least 2+ years in AWS cloud environments, Expertise in AWS database services, SQL skills, experience with relational and NoSQL databases, Proficiency with database migration and replication tools, scripting (Python, Bash), Knowledge of networking, security, and IAM as applied to databases
Nice to Have
ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY, AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other specialty certifications

Drive automation for database operations

Develop high availability strategies
Migrate on-premises databases to AWS
Monitor database performance and tune queries
Implement caching strategies
Implement database encryption and access controls
Ensure compliance with industry standards
Automate provisioning
Integrate database operations into CI/CD pipelines
Manage cost optimization for cloud database services
Set up monitoring and alerting
Troubleshoot complex database issues
Conduct root cause analysis
Work closely with developers
