What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, 5+ years of professional experience designing and implementing cloud architectures on AWS, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification (or equivalent AWS certifications), Demonstrated expertise with infrastructure-as-code tools, with Terraform mandatory, Proven experience with core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, EKS/ECS, IAM, and CloudFormation, knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration platforms, Experience implementing AWS security best practices, IAM governance, and compliance frameworks, Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild
Nice to Have
Experience migrating on-premises systems and legacy applications to AWS, Knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud platform architectures and deployment strategies, Demonstrated experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and managing cross-functional projects, Proven track record in cloud cost optimization and resource management, Experience with multi-account AWS governance, AWS Organizations, and AWS Control Tower, Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and project management tools like JIRA, Additional AWS certifications (Solutions Architect – Associate, DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty) or complementary cloud certifications, communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Oversee progress of cloud migration and operational tasks

How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Lead and mentor the engineering team, providing technical guidance and ensuring effective task delivery; Coordinate daily operations, assign workloads (JIRA), and support in resolving technical blockers; Ensure alignment between technical execution and project objectives; Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple areas; Work closely with development, operations, security, and architecture teams; Provide technical leadership across the organization
