Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Experience in an engineering discipline, Able and willing to work flexible hours, including on call support as needed (including weekends and holidays), Willing and able to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally
Nice to Have
3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, 1+ years of project management experience, Experience in the areas of Network, E-Enabling, Maintenance Systems (NEMS), Communications and Navigation (e.g. VHF/HF, SATCOM, LRRA, ISS, INR, TCAS, GPS), Ability to collaborate with multiple team functions, Willingness to expand into technical areas without prior experience, Desire to continuously improve our airplanes, Good verbal and written communication skills

Assist airline customers in resolving real-time technical problems and issues for Boeing Commercial Airplanes operators

Work with operators to recover Airplane on Ground (AOG) situations
Troubleshoot an airplane in different time zones
Travel onsite to the airplane location to work with technicians to return a grounded airplane to revenue service

Avionics Systems Service Engineer (Associate or Experienced) **Company:** The Boeing Company **Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA**) is looking for an **Avionics Systems Service Engineer** **(Associate or Experienced)** to join their team in **Seal Beach, CA.** _**Position Overview:**_ As an Avionics Systems Service Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to assist airline customers in resolving real-time technical problems and issues for Boeing Commercial Airplanes operators. This includes answering general systems functionality inquiries, resolving short- to medium-term avionics and electrical related problem reports, investigating long-term issues, and providing proactive fleet guidance. You will work with operators to recover Airplane on Ground (AOG) situations, which sometimes requires working over the phone to troubleshoot an airplane in different time zones or traveling onsite to the airplane location to work with technicians to return a grounded airplane to revenue service. All of this is done using the latest Boeing tools, technology, data analytics, and real-time fleet monitoring data. **Boeing Customer Support operates on a 24/7/365 basis.
