Avionics Systems Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) **Company:** The Boeing Company **Boeing Global Services (BGS)** is seeking an **Avionics Systems Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level)** to join our dynamic team in **Long Beach, CA**. This position is part of the **C-17 Military Airlifter Program** within the **Avionics/Flight Management & Software Engineering **organization. As an Avionics Systems Engineer, you will develop and apply engineering knowledge, principles, tools, and techniques to implement a series of upgrades and improvements to the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft. Changes in avionics technology including obsolescence necessitate continuous upgrades and engineering evaluations of current and future capabilities. The selected candidate will rapidly integrate into the team and employ an interdisciplinary approach to the analysis, design, development, system-level testing, verification, and validation of the **C-17 Flight Management System (FMS)** and other avionics systems. **Position Responsibilities** * Avionics Systems Engineering position for the C-17 Military Airlifter Program within the Avionics/Flight Management & Software Engineering organization, located in Long Beach, California. Changes in Avionics technology require continuous upgrade and engineering evaluation of present/future capability. As an Avionics Systems Engineer, the selected candidate will rapidly integrate into the team and apply an interdisciplinary approach to the analysis, design, development, system level test/verification and validation of the C-17 Flight Management System (FMS).
