What They're Looking For.
Must Have
B. S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, 5+ years of hands-on experience in electronics hardware development, demonstrated technical leadership, owning design projects end-to-end, making critical design decisions, mentoring junior engineers, Direct experience with analog and digital circuit design, analysis, test, and debug, Demonstrated experience designing Class 3, safety-critical PCBs for flight or similarly demanding high-reliability applications, Proficiency with CAD layout tools, direct experience working with external board manufacturing and assembly vendors, Working knowledge of EMI considerations in precision analog or high-voltage circuit design, mechanical packaging for harsh environmental conditions, Proven ability to operate independently, drive solutions, lead teams through ambiguity, communication skills with the ability to present technical content concisely to varied audiences
Nice to Have
Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, Familiarity with aerospace avionics development standards (DO-254, ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-330, or similar), Experience developing radiation-tolerant hardware for space or similarly demanding environments

Collaborating with electronics manufacturing subcontractors; Work within a small, fast-moving, multi-disciplinary team; Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers; Present program status, risks, and technical findings clearly to senior leadership; Work with product team
