Avionics Certification Manager (Level K) **Company:** The Boeing Company The**Boeing Commercial Avionics** organization is seeking a **Avionics Certification Manager** to join the team in **Everett, WA.** This roles requires technical and certification knowledge and leadership ability to coordinate certification technical matters and Engineering Unit Member (E-UM) work statement. The manager will complement the Safety and Airworthiness (SAW) manager such that the certification managers will have a regulator focus while the future SAW manager role will have an applicant focus. This is a K-Level management requisition. _**Position Responsibilities:**_ * Lead and manage Avionics E-UMs, their statement of work (SOW), and prioritization needs. This includes E-UM advocacy as well as balancing between E-UM SOW and Subject Matter Expert (SME) SOW. * Performance management and mentorship of E-UMs * Oversight of E-UMs In Training (IT) and development of E-UM ITs and the pipeline, including maintaining sufficient quantity of appropriately delegated E-UMs * Cross-functional coordination with all the functional teams within avionics to ensure E-UM priorities are appropriately managed. * Cross-functional coordination with other organizations such as Crew Ops, Airplane Safety, Aero, and Systems Stress related to certification matters and SOW management. * Development and maintenance of standard means of compliance * Support the Applicant to improve compliance showing capability * Support the E-UM Administrator to ensure resolution of issues and concerns and to protect the E-UMs from undue pressure _**Work Authorization:**_ This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
