****Job Description:**** A vacancy has arisen for an **_Airborne Electronic Hardware Designer_** , inside the _A/C & Mission System Integration Rigs_ domain, withing _Airbus Defence and Space Air Power Engineering_ in Getafe. The successful applicant will join the _A/C & Mission System Integration Rigs_ domain, belonging to the _Flight and Integration Test_ _Centre of Competence_. The domain is composed of around 100 employees located in Getafe, Manching and Bremen. We are looking for an experienced and motivated engineer with a passion for advanced digital systems and aerospace technologies. The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, in charge of the full life-cycle of the Design and Build of Airborne Electronic products and solutions. **The main activities of an** _Airborne Electronic Hardware Designer_**are:** * Design and develop complex airborne electronic hardware solutions * Define hardware requirements and ensure system level requirements allocation * Perform component selection considering reliability, obsolescence, thermal, and environmental constraints * Support hardware validation, integration, qualification and environmental testing campaigns * Collaborate closely with firmware developers, systems designers and certification responsible authorities * Management of supplier work packages for the design, manufacturing and validation activities during prototype and production phases * Participate in technical reviews, with internal customer teams (Design Offices, Chief Engineering and Program Offices) or external Certification/Qualification authorities (INTA, EASA) * Prepare technical documentation aligned with aerospace development and certification processes * Ensure compliance with aerospace and airborne standards DO-254 and DO-160 **Associated competencies to main activities are:** * Digital Electronic Hardware Detailed Design: The demonstrated ability to master the design and/or perform analysis of digital electronic circuits including
