Full Job Description
Amazon's Aviation Security (AvSec) team is seeking an experienced Risk Manager II to play a key role in safeguarding Amazon Air's expanding cargo transportation operations across India. This is an Individual Contributor role where you will own and manage aviation security risk programs — driving compliance, risk reduction, and operational excellence across Amazon Air's network. You will operate within AvSec's four foundational pillars: Security Management Systems, Programs and Quality Assurance, Security Operations, and Credentialing. Working across multiple teams — including Operations, Legal, Regulatory, third-party air carrier security teams, and external service providers — you will deliver independently while developing deep subject matter expertise in international and Indian aviation security frameworks spanning ICAO, IATA, TSA, BCAS, and DGCA standards. The successful candidate will serve as a point of contact for regulatory engagement, ensure compliance with established security policies and procedures, and develop and improve processes to ensure operational integrity. You must have a demonstrated ability to utilize security expertise to challenge conventional wisdom, think strategically, and communicate effectively.
