What They're Looking For.
Must Have
University or college degree in environment, water or civil engineering, Several years of experience in a leading role, preferably with responsibility for complex and long-term operations, Experience with post-remediation projects and good understanding of the operation of dams and water treatment plants, Good knowledge of, or strong interest in, Swedish environmental legislation and its practical application, Ability to make decisions with a long-term perspective where safety, environment and business are weighed together, Good knowledge of Swedish and English, B driver's license
What You'll Do.
Operate and manage Boliden's closed mine areas
Ensure that post-remediated areas meet high standards for safety
Responsible for self-monitoring and communication with authorities
Supervision and operation of water treatment plants and dams
Systematic risk management
Prioritize actions that strengthen and complement post-remediation
Drive continuous improvements
Make well-balanced priorities between different interests
lead and develop the work within the department with a focus on long-term sustainability and responsibility
Ensure that operation and follow-up of closed mine areas comply with legal requirements and Boliden's high ambitions
Coordinate and prioritize measures to ensure robust and future-proof post-remediation
Ensure a good and safe working environment within the department and at the facilities you are responsible for
Develop leadership that strengthens the team's competence

Actively contribute to analysis

How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Lead a team of five employees with specialist competence in environmental coordination, dam safety and project management; Work closely with other department managers within the Sustainability Staff; Collaborate to jointly drive issues related to Boliden's long-term environmental responsibility

Communication with authorities; Communication with local residents and other stakeholders
