Must Have
Avaya Aura 7.x/8.x, Microsoft Teams Admin Center (TAC), SIP signaling (INVITE, BYE, CANCEL), DHCP (Options 242/176), DNS, VLANs, IP addressing for voice endpoints, Layer 3 DSCP, Layer 2 CoS markings, Wireshark or similar packet capture tools, PowerShell, G. 711, G. 729, OPUS
Nice to Have
AudioCodes or Ribbon hardware, Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) on Windows and Android, TLS/SRTP encryption, Azure AD (Entra ID), international emergency services (E911), regional regulatory requirements for PSTN
What You'll Do.
Day-to-day operations
and support of global voice communication systems
Ensuring high-quality connectivity across international offices
Managing a hybrid environment (Avaya Aura and Microsoft Teams Phone System)
Implementing upgrades
Resolving complex tickets
Ensuring seamless user experience
Performing daily administrative tasks within Avaya Communication Manager and Microsoft Teams Admin Center
Voicemail configuration
Maintaining Direct Routing and Operator Connect configurations
Deploying and troubleshooting global endpoints
Acting as Tier 2/3 escalation point for voice-related issues
Executing MACD requests for users
Monitoring system health
Generating monthly usage reports
Maintaining accurate records of global circuit IDs
and internal 'How-To' guides
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely with the Senior Infrastructure team; Provide support to the IT Service Desk
Process & Methodology
Involvement in at least one major migration (e.g., Legacy PBX to VoIP or Avaya to Teams)
