Must Have
Experience with logs, metrics, dashboards, telemetry, or debugging tools, Experience using collaboration, documentation, and issue-tracking tools, Analytical skills and attention to detail, Ability to recognize patterns, Comfort making decisions with incomplete information, Good judgment about when to escalate, Clear written communication, Ability to document investigations clearly, Ability to work across teams, Foundational understanding of autonomy systems, robotics, distributed systems, aviation systems, or complex software systems, Ability to work from Kigali, Rwanda, Must have legal right to work in Rwanda, Must be willing and able to work for a period not less than 40 hours/week
Nice to Have
Experience in operations, QA, technical support, incident response, or reliability-focused environments, Familiarity with observability tools, Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, or support teams, Exposure to autonomy systems, Experience in aviation, robotics, logistics, or other safety-critical operational environments, Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Jira, Confluence, PagerDuty, Datadog, Grafana, Notion, Linear, Asana, ServiceNow, or similar systems, Scripting or data analysis experience

Serve as first line of response for autonomy-related
Review operational issue reports
and contextual information
Determine what likely went wrong
Identify which systems may be involved
Route issues to correct teams
and route operational issues
Maintain clear investigation notes
Work with senior engineers to refine diagnosis
Recommend severity and urgency
Identify recurring issues or patterns
Escalate for deeper investigation
Contribute to triage playbooks
Contribute to documentation
Contribute to workflows
Contribute to lightweight tooling improvements
and consistency of triage
