Full Job Description

Join the System Incubator team as **(senior) automotive system engineer** to help us define and develop innovative demos, proof-of-concepts, and system solutions using NXP’s automotive chips and software solutions. **Your Responsibilities** * Help to define and develop innovative demos, proof-of-concepts and system solutions using NXP automotive chips and software solutions. * Contribute to the development and integration of software in the project to enable application proof-of-concepts and system studies. * Applications you will work on can be (amongst others) ADAS, in-vehicle networks, connectivity modules, IVI, and E/E vehicle architectures. * Be ready to explore automotive standards, analysis and simulation tools, innovative solutions and solving problems of future vehicles. * The job requires interaction with other NXP teams and potentially external partners. . **Your profile** To be successful in this role you have: * University (of applied sciences) degree: BSc, MSc, PDEng or PhD in a technical specialism, like Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technologies, or equally relevant. * Experience in software engineering, including on embedded platforms. * Expert in modern C++, embedded C, Python, CI/CD infrastructure, Linux, and test automation. * Experience with code review and software development in teams. * Experience in automotive communication standards. * Theoretical and practical experience with Time Sensitive Networking Ethernet and YANG standards. * Expertise in working with ARM-based embedded automotive processors and automotive network devices. * Experience in hardware evaluation boards, building board support packages, kernels, and images. * Experience with correlation of analysis and simulation results with results obtained from hardware evaluation boards. * Critical mindset in debugging issues and following through with solutions with your fellow team members in complex multi-hardware system setups * Analytical mindset in digesti
