We are currently hiring an **Automotive Service Advisor** in our **Nanaimo Auto Service Centre**. _As this role is on-site full-time, we are seeking candidates who currently live within commuting distance of our Nanaimo location or are prepared to relocate to the Nanaimo area. Applicants who are unable to meet one of these requirements will not be considered._ As an Automotive Service Advisor, you’re a key player in every Member’s experience when they entrust their vehicle to BCAA for repairs. From the time an appointment is booked through to its hand-over back to the Member, you’re responsible for the Member relationship. You’re an excellent listener, can manage conflict should it arise, and can translate technical information to members in a manner they will understand. **Who you are:** * You love working on vehicles. * You’re passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, even in complicated moments. * You’re a strong communicator, in person, via email or on the phone. * You’re tenacious and detail oriented. * You love to learn and aren’t afraid to ask questions. * You’re personable and adaptable and strive to always improve your technical skills. * Flexible hours and weekend work are no problem for you. **Once here, you will:** * Greet and check-in customers entering your BCAA Automotive Service Centre. * Act as each Member’s trusted advisor when discussing needed repairs, costs, schedule, timeline and preventative maintenance. * Provide repair estimates and receive Member approval for work to be performed, finalize s
