What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of automotive technician experience, including mechanical diagnostics and repair, Experience working with a variety of vehicle brands (domestic, import, and European), Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract, Able to commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including overtime based on business needs.
Nice to Have
Formal automotive technician training or relevant certifications, Experience with advanced diagnostic tools or scan tools, Previous apprenticeship experience in a reconditioning or dealership environment
What You'll Do.
Perform Clutch standardized vehicle inspections
including stationary checks and road tests
Diagnose and assess mechanical and safety issues
identifying necessary repairs and preventative maintenance
Provide recommendations on repairs and best course of action based on inspection results
Complete routine maintenance and minor repairs
and inspection findings accurately in Clutch systems
Adhere to Clutch’s mechanical and safety standards
contributing to ongoing process improvements
Communicate effectively with reconditioning staff
and management regarding vehicle status and workflow changes
