**Job Title: Senior Associate – Automation QA (BDD Framework)** **Role Overview** We are seeking a skilled **Automation QA – Senior Associate** with 3–5 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in **BDD frameworks, Cucumber, and TestNG** , along with a solid understanding of functional testing and Agile methodologies. The role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain **automation test frameworks** using **BDD approach (Cucumber)** * Develop and execute automated test scripts using **Java, Selenium, and TestNG** * Translate functional requirements and user stories into **BDD scenarios (Gherkin format)** * Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to ensure complete test coverage * Integrate automated test suites into **CI/CD pipelines** to support continuous testing * Execute regression, integration, and system-level automated test suites * Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution * Participate in **test planning, estimation, and execution activities** across releases * Ensure adherence to **SDLC/Agile processes and quality standards** * Contribute to continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and processes **Required Skills & Experience** * **3 to 5 years** of experience in **Automation Testing** * Strong programming knowledge in **Java** * Hands-on experience with: * **BDD Frameworks (Cucumber)** * **TestNG** * **Selenium WebDriver (UI automation)** * Experience in creating and maintaining **automation frameworks** * Strong understanding of **STLC and SDLC methodologies** * Experience with **test scenario design, execution, and defect tracking** * Exposure to tools such as **JIRA / ALM / Xray or similar** * Basic knowledge of **SQL / database validation** **Core Competencies** * Strong **analytical and problem-solving
