What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline from an ABET-accredited program. Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within a consulting or design firm environment. Basic troubleshooting skills related to instrumentation, controls, and associated systems.
Nice to Have
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification or active registration. Working knowledge of cGMP manufacturing environments. Experience performing instrumentation and controls engineering calculations and supporting control system design and implementation. Experience developing control system schematics, panel fabrication drawings, and field wiring diagrams. Experience creating and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other applicable industry standards. Familiarity with mechanical and building codes. Basic experience in the design and application of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams, vendors, and construction partners. Ability to perform discipline-specific calculations with limited supervision.

The AIC Engineer III is responsible for overseeing the discipline and managing the discipline budget on small to medium projects of limited complexity. The Engineer III coordinates with internal and external engineers as well as client, construction manager, subcontractor and vendor interfaces. The Engineer possesses the demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities and direct the work of others. The Engineer may work independently or at the direction of the Lead Engineer or Project Manager. This role will have the ability to successfully execute and lead (on moderate complexity projects) all phases of design including initial programming, planning, feasibility, scope and concept development, detailed design, construction documentation and construction administration, or hold primary responsibili
