**Who we are looking for:** We're looking for a talented, experienced QA Automation Engineer in Data with solid technical skills and a passion for writing and testing software to drive automated testing of our FX trading platform. In this role, you will take primary responsibility for the building Test Frameworks in Python in collaboration with development team. You will work closely with Data Engineering team and review requirements, create test plans that effectively evaluate very complex data pipelines and data processing algos **Why this role is important to us:** You will be joining State Street Digital, our new division that combines advanced trading technology, best execution and servicing expertise with proprietary market research and insights to support clients in decentralized financial markets. Together with other teams across our company, you will be working on the evolution of our award-winning GlobalLink technology platform into a multi-asset solution that will include crypto, central bank digital currency, blockchain and tokenization. Join us if making your mark in the digital asset servicing industry is a challenge you are up for. **As a Automation Engineer in Data, you will:** * Build, enhance and maintain an automated test infrastructure for validating data pipelines and ETLs. Ability to examine data at different stages in different forms. * Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality and automate the tests. * Integrate with SCM infrastructure to establish a continuous build and test cycle using CICD tools - Jenkins or Teamcity. * Comfortable working on Linux environment * Establish processes and tools set to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports. * Review Code and provide feedback to other SDITs in the team. **These skills will help you succeed in this role:** * Analytical – data-driven, intellectually curious, and consistently seek to understand how things work the way
