Must Have
Minimum 3 years, direct of experience in applied automation design engineering and project experience, Experience with Allen Bradley PLC, Experience with Siemens PLC, Experience with DeltaV, Experience with Instrumentation and control panel hardware, Must understand the relationship between Good Manufacturing Practices, industry standards and their application to the manufacturing process, Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external team members is essential, analytical skills (engineering analysis), Experience with computer systems validation practices (GAMP), Experience authoring and reviewing standard operating procedures, on-the-job-trainings, and other controlled documents
Nice to Have
Additional experience in construction/installation, equipment start-up, qualification and/or validation, Experience with FactoryTalk AssetCentre
What You'll Do.
Execute automation engineering activities for capital projects
maintenance of automation systems
Interface with different streams (Process
Develop solutions to satisfy internal customer needs
Produce and implement designs
Support configuration
maintenance of manufacturing computer and automation systems
Lead projects in design
qualification of automated processes
Support manufacturing assistance team with troubleshooting
Interpret automation requirements
Perform reviews with stakeholders
Lead and work with various trades for installation and commissioning
Support mechanical completion and start-up
SAT and Critical Test plan execution
Review C&Q test plans
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Interfacing with different streams (Process, ITS, Production, Maintenance, Quality); Lead small cross functional teams; Work with various trades; Work with a spectrum of roles within the organization (unionized trades, salaried managers, technical services support functions, quality, production)
Communication Scope
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external team members is essential
Process & Methodology
Manage development, concept, design, commissioning, qualification and the maintenance of automation systems, Adhering to budget and schedule commitments, Responsible for design that meets project budget and schedule
