Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field, 3+ years practical experience in an automation manufacturing environment, knowledge of product/process flow, Design for high volume manufacture including robotic automation, Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor /AutoCAD, RSLogix 5000 PLC programming, Fanuc robotics, Excellent problem solver, high degree of engineering curiosity, Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, Excellent oral and written communication skills, Proficiency in the operation and use of Microsoft based communications, Microsoft Project

What You'll Do.

Assist manufacturing in development of new processes

Develop new manufacturing standards

Create wiring sketches

Create exploded view assembly procedures

Develop automated assembly

Provide documentation support

Determine machine requirements

Develop specifications for machine functions

Develop specifications for user interface

Develop specifications for quality control

Design automated assembly line equipment

Program automated assembly line equipment

Design automated test fixtures

Maintain automated test fixtures

Create bill of materials

Maintain bill of materials

Create test procedures

Maintain test procedures

Monitor and improve efficiency

Monitor and improve output

Develop new software designs

Develop new hardware designs

Research components and technology

Increase reliability of controls

Train peer group on automation concepts

Mentor peer group on automation skills

Troubleshoot existing automation
