What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience and a minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience, Extensive experience in developing and integrating Ignition SCADA systems, expertise in controls hardware engineering, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial networking, Proven experience in machine automation within a manufacturing environment, Understanding of manufacturing processes and process optimization, Proficiency in programming languages used in automation and control systems (e. g. , Python, Java, Ladder Logic), project management skills with a track record of leading successful automation projects
What You'll Do.
and deploy complex Ignition SCADA systems for manufacture of hardware
Integrate Ignition systems with PLCs
and other control systems in manufacturing
Configure Ignition software to meet specific project requirements
including developing custom scripts and templates
Design and implement control systems
including PLC programming
and network configuration
Develop and test software solutions for manufacturing processes
ensuring seamless communication and control
and optimize machine automation solutions for manufacturing processes
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to automation systems and controls hardware
Analyze processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements through collaboration of various teams in manufacturing
Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards and best practices in manufacturing
Ability to manage project timelines of work performed
