### **At Materion, everyone is included, respected and offered opportunity to grow._Join us!_** The Automation Controls Engineer will design, fabricate, program, install, modify, and repair all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. **You Will Have the Opportunity to:** * Develop electrical and controls system design solutions based on engineering principles. * Generate electrical schematics and documentation necessary to install and troubleshoot control system and interface it to other system components. * Perform PLC/HMI/Automation Controller programming with emphasis on program reliability, safety and ease of updated troubleshooting documentation. * Define scope documents for new and existing equipment from external providers. Establish product acceptance criteria. * Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical requirements. **Education and Experience Required:** * B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or demonstrated required capability as an Automation technician for 5 years. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. * Preferred: knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma principles **Materion Corporation and its subsidiaries (the “Company”) is an equal employment opportunity employer.
