What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Science‑based discipline, or possess equivalent experience, automation experience with expertise in PLC and HMI/SCADA technologies, hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP, CAN, Ethernet UDP, and OPC UA, solid knowledge of object-oriented design principles and modern software development methodologies, deep understanding of software software development processes, analytical tools effectively to support product development and problem-solving, proven experience delivering small-scale engineering or automation projects, interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, willing to travel to company-assigned sites
Nice to Have
Twincat Soft PLC and Ignition SCADA preferred
What You'll Do.
Leading the execution of software projects within the subsea control production systems department
Developing and maintaining PLC and/or SCADA applications
creating new functions
troubleshooting issues
managing source control
ensuring code quality through best practices
Reporting project progress and resource status regularly
providing technical input to project plans
Taking ownership of key control systems engineering deliverables
Preparing and reviewing project requirements
design specifications
software product requirements
interface specifications
Preparing and reviewing test requirements for software applications and units
Reviewing engineering solutions
