What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Two (2) years of experience in either Process Engineering role, vision technology role, or converting technology role in a private, public, government or military environment
Nice to Have
Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering field, Experience in converting technology, including roll good slitting and automated slitting, Experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or industrial setting, Five (5) years of professional experience implementing automated inspection, machine vision, or automated converting/slitting systems, Experience with 3M custom web inspection or commercial web inspection systems, Image processing, signal processing, optics, software, or electronics experience

This group is a leader in digital technology within the corporation through its technology development and breadth of system deployment across 3M manufacturing operations. As an Automated Inspection & Converting Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.
