What They're Looking For.

Must Have

3 to 5 years of experience in automotive repair field, Proficient diagnostic skills, Proficient in brake, Proficient in tire and wheel, Proficient in a/c, Proficient in battery charge and check, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Basic computer skills, Effective interpersonal skills, Must be 18 years of age, Must have a valid driver’s license, Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles, Regular, consistent and punctual attendance

Nice to Have

High School diploma or GED, Certifications A-2 or A-3 preferred, Progress toward obtaining certifications during the first year in role

What You'll Do.

Perform diagnostic repair on customer vehicles

Perform maintenance on customer vehicles

Flush system contaminants

Charge system with freon

Run OEM performance tests

Verify system performance

Identify and correct related problems

Diagnose all systems and related problems

Repair all systems and related problems

Diagnose brake problems

Perform failure analysis of components

Set up and use on car brake lathe

Perform full diagnostic on electrical charging systems

Perform in-depth analysis on electrical charging systems

Perform corrections on electrical charging systems

Perform failure analysis for clutch

Diagnose clutch systems and related problems

Repair clutch systems and related problems

Adjust coolant levels

Visually inspect system for leaks

Make minor repairs such as hose replacements

Pressure test systems

Analyze starting/cranking system to identify root cause

Diagnose starting/cranking systems and related problems

Repair starting/cranking systems and related problems

Evaluate lighting system configuration

Evaluate lighting system application

Diagnose lighting system problems

Isolate lighting system problems

Replace entire lighting harness
