What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 to 5 years of experience in automotive repair field, Proficient diagnostic skills, Proficient in brake, tire and wheel, a/c, battery charge and check, Basic computer skills, Must be 18 years of age, Have a valid driver’s license
Nice to Have
High School diploma or GED, Certifications A-2 or A-3 preferred with progress toward obtaining certifications during the first year in role
What You'll Do.
Perform diagnostic repair on customer vehicles
Perform maintenance on customer vehicles
Flush system contaminants
Charge system with freon
Run OEM performance tests
Verify system performance
Identify and correct related problems
Diagnose brake problems
Perform failure analysis of components
Set up and use on car brake lathe
Perform full diagnostic on electrical charging systems
Perform in-depth analysis on electrical charging systems
Correct electrical charging system issues
Perform failure analysis for clutch
Diagnose and repair clutch systems
Check and adjust coolant levels
Check antifreeze requirements
Visually inspect system for leaks
Make minor repairs such as hose replacements
Pressure test systems
Analyze starting systems to identify root cause
Diagnose and repair starting systems
Evaluate lighting system configuration
