What You'll Do.
Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing relevant courses of action
repair or replacement of faulty electrical wiring and any other associated parts
Maintaining a focus on safety including the use of site safety systems
Prioritising and undertaking specified and/or general work to the required standard and within timeframes
Working to priorities as advised by Maintenance Supervisors
Working with Maintenance Supervisors to ensure quality maintenance performance
including asset availability and reliability
Undertaking repairs and servicing in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and / or EPSA requirements

**About EPSA:** We are a global family-owned business with over 60 years in the mining, civil and earth moving industry operating in several countries throughout the world. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team. **About the role** Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be: * Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing relevant courses of action * Installation, repair or replacement of faulty electrical wiring and any other associated parts * Maintaining a strong focus on safety including the use of site safety systems * Prioritising and undertaking specified and/or general work to the required standard and within timeframes. * Working to priorities as advised by Maintenance Supervisors. * Working with Maintenance Supervisors to ensure quality maintenance performance, including asset availability and reliability. * Undertaking repairs and servicing in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and / or EPSA requirements. As the **Auto Electrician** you will work a **7/7 roster, rotating days and nights, 10.5 hour shifts. **You will be based on site at**** the **Commodore Mine** **in Millmerran, Queensland** **Our preference goes to recruiting local candidates as no accommodation is provided.** **To be successful you will have:** * Recognised Australian Trade Certificate. * Current Australian Open Drivers Licence. * ARC Air Con Refrigerant Handling Licence. * At least 3 years of Mine site experience. * Experience with Caterpillar, Liebherr and Komatsu Mining Equipment and Excavators electronic equipment and systems. * Proven strong diagnostic and trouble shooting ability with respect to heavy earthmoving equipment electrical and wiring systems. * Ability to complete work tasks within set timeframes. * Current Australian driver’s licence (mandatory) * Current Coal Board Medical * Standard 11 * Our preference goes to recruiting local candidates.
