Company Description Anglo American Australia In Australia, we operate five steelmaking coal mines in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, and have additional joint venture interests in manganese, as well as copper exploration projects under way in North West Queensland. Steelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world. Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team at Capcoal Opencut Mine in Middlemount. You will be a flexible team player and enjoy contributing to a positive and safety focused work environment. This is your opportunity to join a team of passionate and supportive industry leading experts where you can really drive your future career. Our HME team predominantly work on CAT D10 & D11 dozers, Caterpillar 793D and Komatsu 830E trucks as well as other auxiliary equipment. You will have a desire to collaborate and innovate to continuously improve performance and processes to optimise equipment availability and reliability. Your zero-harm mindset will be forefront of all processes, and you will have a passion for safely delivery requirements. Key accountabilities; * Inspect, diagnose, service and repair of Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME). * Utilise computerised maintenance management systems; (SAP desirable) * Maintaining a high level of housekeeping in the workshops * Undertaking training and upskilling as required. * Attending to breakdowns and problem diagnosing. * Scheduled maintenance and installations. * Experience with fault finding. * Work independently where required but within a team environment. * Experience in facilitating and participating in job risk assessment ## Qualifications Qualifications To be successful in this role ideally you will have: * Current recognised Australian Electrical Trade Certificate (Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent) * Hold a current Australian Manual Drivers
